Hi, I’m Debra Tyndall, and I’m glad you’re here. Snake Hawk Press started as my creative escape years ago when I worked in graphic design and independent publishing. Over time, that creative space evolved into something more practical a place where I could talk honestly about products I actually use, test, and depend on. What began as a side hobby has now become a genuine part of my daily life.
My Journey
I studied visual design in college and spent more than a decade working with small print studios and product designers. My job was all about details textures, finishes, durability, color accuracy and that attention to detail never left me. When you’ve handled as many tools, materials, and gadgets as I have, you start to notice what’s built well and what isn’t.
A few years ago, I moved from Austin to Asheville, North Carolina, where I live with my husband and a very spoiled dog named Pepper. My home office doubles as a small testing lab I’m constantly trying out new products, from kitchen tools to tech accessories, just to see if they live up to their promises.

Why I Started This Blog
By 2025, I wanted a space where my curiosity and experience could actually help people. I got tired of polished ads and fake “expert” reviews that tell you everything’s amazing. Here, I only share products I’ve personally handled or researched deeply. If something fails, I’ll tell you straight. If it’s worth your money, I’ll explain why.
Every review on Snake Hawk Press comes from a mix of hands-on testing, honest evaluation, and a genuine wish to help you avoid buying things you’ll regret. I don’t chase trends or write to please brands. I write for people like me who appreciate real, balanced opinions.
What You’ll Find Here
You’ll find reviews that feel personal, comparisons that highlight both strengths and flaws, and guides that focus on how a product fits into everyday life. My goal isn’t to convince you to buy it’s to help you decide confidently. Whether it’s something as simple as a travel mug or as specific as a photo printer, I care about long-term value, not short-term hype.
A Final Word
I believe trust is earned, not claimed. That’s why I only recommend what I’d actually spend my own money on. Snake Hawk Press isn’t about selling it’s about sharing what’s real, useful, and worth it.
Thanks for being here and supporting this small but growing corner of the internet. If you ever have questions, suggestions, or just want to talk about your own product experiences, I’d love to hear from you.
